It was a total joy to speak with Norm Wilner of Toronto’s NOW Magazine fame about Spike Jonze’s hugely influential movie HER. Norm has a fantastic podcast “Someone Else’s Movie”, wherein, a filmmaker with a new work coming out breaks down their love affair with another film, something that inspired their own work(s). I circled around Eternal Sunshine of Spotless Mind, but it was already chosen. So I had to reveal the movie that co-writer Duane Murray and I were massive influenced by in writing Red Rover: HER.
